Violin Outlet's Rental Philosophy

Violin Outlet offers an outstanding rent-to-own program with lots of options based on our philosophy that our customers should be able to rent quality instruments at affordable prices and accumulate as much equity towards purchasing an instrument as possible.

Currently we rent to customers living locally in the greater Las Vegas area including Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and Henderson. We now include the following nearby areas for pickup only: Pahrump, Logandale, Mesquite, Boulder City, Kingman, Bullhead City, St George, and Flagstaff.

Our Rental Program Facts

Violin Outlet has been in business since 1983, thus serving the community longer than any other bowed string specific shop. We employ a stellar team of stringed instrument players and parents of orchestra students that value our customers’ experience. And, we are the Clark County School District’s authorized provider of bowed stringed instruments.
We offer low cost rental rates on quality instruments and options to pay monthly or for the entire first year.
This is not just for a limited amount of time like many other stores. You can truly rent-to-own the instrument.
The choice is yours, but rest assured our used rentals offer a great opportunity to play a good quality used instrument that has been well maintained by our full service shop, reduced in purchase price and rental rate, and may sound better than a new instrument due to being played in already.
The choice is yours. You can purchase the instrument you rented, whether it was new or used, or pick out a different one of equal or greater value. We do not force you to purchase a new instrument at an inflated price like other rental companies.

Within the first 12 months of renting, you can purchase the instrument you are renting for an extra 15% off the balance (purchase price with tax – rent paid with tax = balance).

You may add our optional Loss, Damage, and Repair (LDR) coverage to your monthly rental payment to help protect your rental instrument from unforeseen loss, damage, or theft. All repairs are done at our shop by our professional repair department.

Costs

Violin

Violins rent for $20 to $30 per month with a $25 refundable deposit. Optional LDR (loss, damage and repair) coverage is available for $7 per month.

Viola

Violas rent for $20 to $30 per month with a $30 refundable deposit. Optional LDR (loss, damage and repair) coverage is available for $7 per month.

Cello

Cellos rent for $35 to $60 per month with a $50 refundable deposit. Optional LDR (loss, damage and repair) coverage is available for $10 per month.

Bass

Basses rent for $55 to $85 per month with a $100 refundable deposit. LDR coverage is not available for basses.
