To celebrate Eastman’s decades-long journey in string instrument making, they set out to create a special series of instruments crafted from their finest tonewoods and sculpted by their best craftspeople. They’ve learned a great deal over the years and have taken the sum of that knowledge and instilled it into their latest instrument, the Eastman 30th Anniversary Model 830 Viola, creating an instrument that sounds as stunning as it looks. Model 830 violas are made from Eastman’s finest European tonewoods, with the choice of maple or poplar ribs and backs. Eastman has also applied decades worth of varnish mastering to create an instrument that sounds as stunning as it looks.
