The Eastman Electro Acoustic VA305 viola keeps the natural warmth of a traditional viola while adding endless possibilities with the built in electrics.
Description
The Eastman Electro Acoustic VA305 viola keeps the natural warmth of a traditional viola while adding edge and a whole new dimension of musical possibilities. Players and teachers recognize in the model 305 an instrument with a strong tonal and visual personality. These are the qualities that make it one of Eastman’s most popular models. The unique pickup system is embedded into the spruce top of the instrument before varnishing with no disturbance to the bridge. Eastman’s proprietary 3.5 mm jack is used as the end button on the viola making it unnoticeable. Each Electro Acoustic instrument comes with a lightweight, low-profile cable that provides a seamless connection to your amplifier or individual playing setup, making this the easiest and most comfortable design to “plug in” on the market. The Eastman Electro Acoustic VA305 viola is sold as an outfit with a BA301 Cadenza carbon bow and an Eastman Cordura Oblong case model CA1914.
Plug in. Naturally.
Electro Acoustic Series.
Eastman’s Electro Acoustic step up violas maintain the traditional sound and style of an acoustic viola while capturing the warm and resonant qualities of our tonewoods. Eastman’s unique pickup system is embedded into the top of the instrument, and our proprietary 3.5 mm jack is used as the end button, making it almost unnoticeable.
The result is a viola that looks, feels, and sounds like a traditional acoustic instrument, while opening up new possibilities for creative musical exploration.
